Learning about quick breads! Recipe: Blueberry Muffins w/ Streussel Topping

About Foods I

We will start out learning about safe and sanitary food preparation methods and procedures before moving onto the essential basics of preparing foods (ex: reading a recipe, proper use of equipment, measurements and conversions, reading food labels, etc.). We will then move onto the principles of etiquette, the understanding of food choices and how they influence our health, and finally we will pull all of our knowledge together to plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks using skills acquired throughout the semester.
